Where the Funds Go

Fifty percent of dollars raised by Team Roswell Bosom Buddies will continue to directly support the Western New York Breast Resource Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The Breast Resource Center helps patients and families in our community navigate their cancer journey from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship. The center, which is free and open to the public, provides a wealth of information and personal support not only to patients, but to their spouses, siblings and children as well. Since 2012, the center has provided more than $65,000 in wigs to patients free of charge. It’s a friendly, safe space for anyone with cancer concerns. The center doesn’t just offer help, it offers hope.

The other half of funds raised by Team Roswell Bosom Buddies will help ACS fund cancer research initiatives at Roswell Park and across the nation, as well as free education on cancer prevention, early detection and survivor resources to all communities, when and where it’s needed. Visit the Making Strides website to learn more about ACS services and programs made possible through donations.
